I didn’t know you were back. Welcome back. Coincidence you posted this since my wife and I are in the process of completing our homestudy for the foster to adopt program here in our home state.

I’m still floating around the blogosphere, but I haven’t posted anything in awhile. I can’t really decide if I even want to anymore.

I didn’t know quite where to post this, so I apologize. I just found your blog. I am still going thru the journey you may or may not have completed. I was raised mormon, like you, and am also trying to find my own truth. I have my disagreements with what I remember being taught while active in the LDS. I have not read all your material yet but just wanted to say hello. From your ‘Please read this first’ section, it made me think that you were not one of those who became complete anti-mormon as you left the church which makes me more interested in what you have found and what you have not, what you still seek. I am proud that I was raised in the church, even though it at times brought me misery. It helped to shape who I am and I am proud of what I have become, so even though I cannot and will not claim to be a follower, I still would defend my family’s religeon. I like to think you would not fault me for this. Anyway, I look forward to reading what you have put in your blog.

    Sincerely,

    P. Marriott
