Ben: Yep; the political environment is pretty horrible.
Me: I mean, that’s nothing new though–when I read about the 1860′s I crack up at how much the political environment just hasn’t changed.
Ben: Whatever, liar. Washington would have tea with Linoln every morning and then hold hands while channeling God to write the Constitution. I mean its not like we ever had a civil war… oh wait…
Me: It wasnt really a big deal though. More of a civil skirmish, really. Or maybe like “Occupy the Rappahannock.”

Ben: Those soldiers should have quit bitching and got a job like those damn hippies.
Me: Seriously: hundreds of thousands of them, mostly young and able-bodied, camped out all over Virginia and Tennessee, expecting the government to just send them food and clothes all the time.
Ben: Just playing grab ass and enjoying the sunshine and dysentery.
